These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Apex Iron, including the mobile app, AI coaching features, workout generation, food journal, body scan features, and related services.

Acceptance
By creating an account, accessing, or using Apex Iron, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your location, to use Apex Iron.
Fitness and Health Disclaimer
Apex Iron provides fitness, nutrition, workout tracking, body composition estimate, and coaching tools for general informational and wellness purposes only. Apex Iron does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or professional healthcare services.
Body scan results, calorie estimates, nutrition estimates, AI coaching responses, and workout recommendations may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your individual situation. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting or changing any workout, nutrition, weight loss, supplement, or wellness program.
Account Responsibilities
- Keep your login credentials secure
- Provide accurate account and profile information
- Update your information when it changes
- Take responsibility for activity that occurs through your account
Acceptable Use
- Do not use Apex Iron for unlawful, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, or unsafe purposes
- Do not upload content that violates another person's rights
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, interfere with, overload, scrape, or compromise the app or backend systems
- Do not circumvent rate limits, subscriptions, security controls, or access controls
- Do not use the app as a substitute for medical or emergency care
User Content
You may provide profile data, workout logs, coach messages, meal photos, progress photos, notes, and exercise preferences. You retain ownership of your content. You grant Apex Iron LLC a limited license to process, store, transmit, display, analyze, and use your content as needed to provide and improve the app, operate AI features, maintain security, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
AI Features
Apex Iron uses AI services to generate workouts, coach responses, nutrition estimates, and body composition estimates. AI outputs are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsafe, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them.
Before an AI feature sends the information described in its disclosure to OpenAI or the YMove workout-generation fallback, Apex Iron asks for your explicit permission. You can withdraw saved AI data-sharing permissions in Settings. Withdrawal stops future AI transfers until you choose an AI feature and consent again; it does not automatically delete workouts, logs, scan results, or other content already saved to your account.
AI features may be subject to reasonable per-user usage limits, app-integrity checks, temporary capacity limits, maintenance, or suspension to protect reliability and prevent abuse. Manual workout building, saved workouts, and logging may remain available when AI features are limited.
Food and Body Scan Estimates
Meal photo analysis and body scan analysis are estimates only. Nutrition results may vary based on image quality, portion assumptions, hidden ingredients, preparation methods, and other factors. Body composition results are visual approximations and are not medical measurements. Results may be shown as approximate ranges and may change after you correct an input such as waist measurement. Suggested nutrition targets, including adaptive calorie adjustments based on logged intake and weight trends, are estimates and are not medical advice.
Foods you save in your private My Foods library remain records associated with your account. Public USDA FoodData Central records and other third-party nutrition data may be incomplete or inaccurate. Review food names, serving sizes, nutrition values, and source labels before saving or relying on them.
Third-Party Services and Content
Apex Iron may use or link to third-party services, including Apple, Google Play, Firebase, Google Cloud, OpenAI, USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts, YMove, or their content-delivery providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Apex Iron Pro, Subscriptions, and Payments
Apex Iron is free to download and may offer optional auto-renewable Apex Iron Pro subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pro provides access to paid features identified in the app, which may include AI-generated workouts and progression, Apex Coach, AI meal analysis and macro recalculation, Visual Progress Scan analyses, streamed exercise demonstrations, and other features identified as Pro. Manual workout building, workout and food logging, saved history, and other features identified as free do not require Pro. Free features and content you previously saved remain available as described in the app, although starting or recalculating a new Pro operation may require an active entitlement. We may update the exact feature allocation as the service evolves, subject to applicable law and app-store requirements.
The app displays the duration and localized App Store price before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm. A subscription automatically renews for the selected duration unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Apple may charge your account for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can restore purchases in Apex Iron and manage or cancel a subscription through your App Store account settings.
Apple processes payments and payment-card information. Apex Iron does not receive your full payment-card details. Refund eligibility and payment disputes are handled under Apple's policies and applicable law. Deleting your Apex Iron account or uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; cancel it in your App Store subscription settings if you do not want it to renew.
Subscription access may be subject to Apple's billing-retry, grace-period, refund, revocation, Family Sharing, and account rules. We may use verified transaction and entitlement information to prevent fraud and ensure that one purchase is associated with the correct Apex Iron account. Prices, features, and available plans may change as permitted by Apple and applicable law, with required notice for subscription price increases.
The price, billing period, taxes, trial or introductory offer if any, and other purchase terms shown by Google Play before confirmation control your purchase. Planned standard U.S. pricing is $7.99 per month or $59.99 per year, but localized prices and taxes may vary.
Subscriptions renew automatically through Google Play unless canceled before Google's displayed renewal deadline. You can manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play. Canceling generally preserves Pro access through the end of the paid period. Deleting Apex Iron or your Apex account does not automatically cancel a Google Play subscription. Refunds, payment failures, grace periods, account holds, pauses, price changes, and chargebacks are handled under Google Play's rules and applicable law.
Eligible purchases can be restored only to the Apex Iron account associated with them. Saved workouts, logs, and previously created records remain available after Pro ends, but creating or recalculating new AI content may require active Pro access. AI features may remain subject to reasonable safety, abuse-prevention, capacity, and usage limits. During a beta or promotional period, Apex Iron may temporarily include Pro features at no charge. Free beta access does not guarantee free access after the promotional period and does not create a lifetime entitlement.
Intellectual Property
Apex Iron, including the app design, brand, logo, software, graphics, and non-user content, is owned by Apex Iron LLC or its licensors and is protected by law.
Account Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, used the app abusively, or if we discontinue the app or a feature.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex Iron LLC disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apex Iron LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, injuries, or damages arising from use of the app.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable state law, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide notice in the app or by other appropriate means. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
