This page explains how Apex Iron users can request deletion of their account and associated app data.
To request deletion, email support@apexironfitness.com with the subject "Apex Iron Account Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your Apex Iron account.
How to Request Account Deletion
- In the app: Settings > Account > Delete Account opens this deletion request page
- Outside the app: email support@apexironfitness.com
If you cannot access the app, email support with the subject above and include the email address associated with your account.
Verification
For security, we may verify that you own the account before deleting it. We may ask you to confirm the email address or complete another reasonable verification step.
Data Deleted
When an account deletion request is verified, Apex Iron will delete or de-identify account-associated data, including:
- Firebase Authentication account
- User profile data, including email, display name, age, sex, height, weight, fitness level, goals, injuries, and preferences
- Generated and manually created workout plans
- Completed workout history, set logs, reps, weight, calories burned, streaks, badges, levels, and personal records
- Food journal entries, meal analysis results, and uploaded meal photos
- Body scan entries, body composition estimates, measurements, and uploaded body scan photos
- AI coach messages stored by Apex Iron, if any
- Subscription status stored by Apex Iron, if applicable
Data That May Be Retained Temporarily or as Required
Some data may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, security records, fraud prevention records, payment records, or systems operated by service providers. We may retain limited information if required for legal, security, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, dispute resolution, or compliance reasons.
If subscriptions are enabled through Google Play, deleting your Apex Iron account may not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. You may need to cancel the subscription through Google Play subscriptions.
Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by applicable law or unless we need additional time for security, legal, or technical reasons. Backup deletion may occur through normal backup expiration cycles.
Effect of Deletion
Account deletion is permanent. You may lose access to workouts, logs, progress data, photos, AI coach history, and other app data associated with your account. Some non-personal, aggregate, or de-identified data may remain.
